Dessert at any time
Who doesn’t love ice cream and cookies? So why not…

Tadaaaaa! :)

It’s really hard to perfect the shape because others break. Made 18 of these and only 8 were successful haha. Nevertheless, try it! It’s really good :):)

Taiwan for New year!

(Taipei 101)
Goodbye 2011 and hello to 2012!
It’s my second visit to Taiwan. My brother studies in Ping Tung University in Kao-Hsuing so our family went there to visit him :)
Day 1 was shopping day so I wasn’t able to take pictures. Taipei has a lot of big night markets. In Hong kong, when they say night market, it means cheap, affordable, and fashionable outfits. This is not the same in Taiwan however because it may be called a marketplace but some stores sell really expensive outfits. And oh, don’t ever bother buying gadgets in Taiwan since it’s more expensive there than here in the Philippines.

At Taiwan Airport.
Day 2 was our tour day! We went to Leofoo village(a theme park with safari) and Taipei 101.

My Family at Leofoo Village

I just have to include this photo. Its so cute! hihi <3

The parrots can freely roam around and you can even feed them!

You can also feed the ponies!

And these two? they just came out of nowhere. Turned out, they escaped from the bamboo gate so we just feed them. Their fur is sooo fluffy! So adorable! :)

so flexible! haha

This Chimpanzee stared at us for a realllyyyy long time! We thought it was going to jump and attack us!

It’s feeding time!

Look who got many sweet potato! such greedy monkey!

Rides were scary! (will post more pics for rides soon:)
Day 3 was Shopping and Food trotting.

Love my shades!
Food anyone? Taiwan’s street foods are awesome! There are handmade mochi balls, fresh almond drink, sea food, dimsum, crispy seaweeds and many more delicacies! I wasn’t able to capture all the food since my hands are full of goodies but here are some of the pictures.

I love love this!! Fresh strawberry coated with red sugar. So yummy! Ate 2 sticks teehee

Day 4: Shopping then Welcomes 2012! Happy new year! :)
You just can’t miss Taipei 101’s fireworks! It’s amazing :)

Waiting for the fireworks

The countdown!

I loved the fireworks!
Happy New Year to everyone! Let be our 2012 be a more productive and peaceful year :)

Getting ready for Christmas!
This year is my baby Jumbo’s first Christmas with us! Technically its not December yet, but my sister insisted on decorating the Christmas tree so here we are preparing it. (me taking the picture and them assembling it teehee) :)

Fixing the Christmas tree! Jumbo barked on the Christmas tree when she first saw it. haha cutiepie

Here she is patiently waiting. She keeps on looking at the Christmas tree cutee

At last she looked at the camera!
Sadly, we have the old decorations for our christmas tree so I have to bare using it until they buy new decorations. Below is our pre-decorated christmas tree with Jumbo making a pose! cutiepochoochiiiiieeeee <3

She’s so behave noh? haha I think she knows when people are taking her pictures. She poses and won’t move. Talo pa ang makulit na bata haha
Anyhow, I’m excited for Christmas! We are adding more decorations para mafeel na christmas na tlga. Even our neighbor’s excited! Funny lang, they placed their christmas tree outside ng unit nila. Then ung Buddha statue nila naka Santa Clause attire na cuteee haha:) December, please come naaa :)
Lovely Christmas ahead for everyone!

Pasta in a Flash workshop 2

Chorizo and Chicken with Tomato Cream

Porcini with Cambozola Sauce

Truffle Scented Liver Sauce

Roasted walnut Gorgonzola sauce(Gorgonzola is a highly flavored blue cheese)

Seafood with Hazelnut butter sauce

Marinara pasta with chuva haha

Mushroom, Pancetta in olive oil

Chicken and Shrimp pesto (ugly the plating coz the assistant chef “helped” me carry the big pan(well its heavy kasi)

Salmon and Scallops in Saffron sauce (did you know 1 gram of Saffron cost 500 pesos? so expensive!)
Cooking is fun :) It’s also interesting. We should discover more spices to add flavor in our dishes! Imagine, blue cheese in a pasta? try it! it’s really tasty and yummy :)
Love lifestyle dishes! I will be waiting for burgers workshop next month! Who wants to join me?:) sign up! :)
